AIM Rope Access delivered a combined programme of confined‑space operations and masonry repairs at North Kilruskin. Controlled entry into a manhole chamber was carried out using a tripod and winch system, supported by atmospheric testing, continuous monitoring and a dedicated sentry to ensure full compliance with confined‑space regulations.
Alongside the access operations, our stonemasons completed structural repairs to the surrounding chamber, including repointing, stone reinstatement and stitching works using Helibar reinforcement. These repairs restored stability to weakened areas while maintaining the original character of the masonry.
All works were completed safely and efficiently, demonstrating AIM’s capability in managing confined‑space environments while delivering precise masonry restoration.
