AIM successfully delivered a combined programme of confined space operations and structural masonry repairs at North Kilruskin. Our team carried out controlled entry into a manhole chamber using a tripod and winch system, supported by atmospheric testing, continuous monitoring, and a dedicated sentry to ensure full compliance with confined space regulations.

Alongside the access works, AIM’s stonemasons completed essential repairs to the surrounding structure, including repointing, stone reinstatement, and structural stitching using Helibar reinforcement. These repairs restored stability to weakened areas while maintaining the original character of the masonry.

The project was completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, demonstrating AIM’s capability in managing complex confined space tasks while delivering skilled masonry restoration in challenging environments.
