AIM Rope Access supported remedial works on the Forth Rail Bridge, providing safe access to the main structural elements of the sixth World Heritage Site in Scotland. Our technicians carried out visual inspections and high‑level painting repairs across the bridge’s extensive steelwork, covering areas both above road level and down to the points where the structure meets the piers.

Rope access allowed safe movement across the full height of the bridge from its highest point at 110 m above the water to the lower sections near the foundations without the need for disruptive access methods. All works were completed efficiently and in accordance with industrial rope‑access safety standards
