AIM Rope Access carried out high‑level tree‑removal works at Craigentinny Depot, where overhanging trees were presenting a risk to the high‑voltage overhead lines within the rail maintenance facility. The works required controlled climbing and sectional dismantling to safely remove unstable branches and tree sections above live infrastructure.

Our arborists used rope‑based hauling and rigging systems to prevent debris from falling near the overhead lines, while the ground crew managed clear‑down and coordination within the depot. All operations were completed safely, efficiently and in line with site electrical‑safety requirements.
